The Noble Objectives Of The Institution Are Translated Into Practice By Careful And Deliberate Planning And Implementation Of Various Curricular And Co-Curricular Activities.  This Process Demands Greater Flexibility And Ingenuity In The Context Of The Fast-Changing Pace Of Knowledge, Skill And Competencies. Hence, Shift In Teaching-Learning Strategies Is Highly Imperative To Cope Up With The Challenges Of Modern Education. Greater Emphasis Is On How To Know Rather Than What To Know. Motivation, Creative Thinking And Value Orientation In Education Are The Need Of The Time.

A Teacher Who Is Continuously Learning, Having Incessant Liking To Students And Possessing High Degree Of Professional Commitment Would Definitely Cater To This Purpose. The Qualified And Competent Teachers Are More Decisive Than Any Of The Other Determinants Of Quality Education, Viz. Physical Facilities, Curriculum And Instructional Materials, Support Materials And Equipments, Teaching-Learning Strategies, Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation And Effective Management. Evaluation Is An Integral Part Of Planning.

Constant Evaluation, Review, Willingness To Change And Adapt To Suitable Strategies, Etc. Would Make This Institutional Plan, An Effective And Useful Tool To Move Ahead Towards Achieving The High-Set Goal Of Excellence In All Walks Of Navodaya Life. ..

To provide good quality modern education, including a strong component of culture, inculcation of values, awareness of environment, adventure activities and physical education.
To serve the objectives of excellence coupled with equity and social justice.
To ensure that all students of Navodaya Vidyalayas attain a reasonable level of competence in three languages as envisaged in the Three Language Formula.
