Written exam for 80 marks with syllabus covered till announcement. (Half Yearly exam)

ØPeriodic Test for 50 marks reduced to 10 with  syllabus covered till announcement of test dates by school.

 Assignment(15 Marks) and Note Book correction (10 marks ). Total 25 reduced to 5 marks

ØSubject Enrichment

5 Marks

VI:- 10% of 1st term  covering significant topics + Entire syllabus of 2nd Term.

VII:- 20% of 1st term covering  significant topics + Entire syllabus of 2nd Term

VIII:- 30% of 1st term  covering  significant topics + Entire syllabus of 2nd Term

Board  will conduct X Examination for 80 Marks in each subject covering 100% syllabus of the subject of class X .

 

Marks and Grades both will be awarded for individual subjects.

 

9 point grading will be followed as in XII class.

Periodic Written Test,  restricted to three in each subject in an academic year.

Average of the best two to be taken.

This will cover:

§Regularity

§Assignment completion.

§Neatness and upkeep of notebook.

Speaking & Listening Skills for languages.

1.PERIODIC TEST (10 MARKS)

i.Three periodic written tests are to be conducted in the entire academic year. Pre-mid term/Mid term/Post midterm).
ii. SYLLABUS TO BE COVERED CUMULATIVELY.
iii.The school will take the  average of the best two tests for final marks submission.

2. Notebook submission (5 marks)

i.To enhance seriousness of students towards topics taught.

ii.Includes regularity, punctuality, neatness and upkeep of notebook.

3. Subject enrichment Activities (5 marks)

i.These are subject specific application activities aimed at enrichment of the understanding and skill development.

ii.In languages these are aimed to develop effective speaking and listening skill.

iii.Mathematics: the listed laboratory acivities and projects as given in CBSE/NCERT publications.

iv.Science: the listed practical works/activities may be carried out as prescribed by CBSE in the curriculum.

 

v.Social science: Map and project work may be undertaken as prescribed by the CBSE in the curriculum. 

The above remodelled structure of class-X including the format of the report cards is applicable to class IX also.
